To meet the emotional and financial needs of missionaries in crisis. The events happening in the extended family of the missionaries affect the missionary, both emotionally and financially. It has been created with the aim of meeting the crisis needs of the missionaries, who work in remote areas.

The following type of assistance to missionaries during the crisis situations are considered:

  • ☰ Travel expenses to missionaries to visit their parents who are serious/terminally sick-one time only-by Train
  • ☰ Travel expenses to missionary children to attend the funeral of their parents-by Train
  • ☰ Travel expenses to missionary children to visit their parents who are serious/terminally sick-one time only-by Train
  • ☰ Funeral expenses of dependent parents of missionaries and of dependent children of missionaries if Travel is not availed
  • ☰ Reimbursement of hospitalization expenses of dependent parents for major illness like Heart attack, Cancer, Kidney failure, Stoke, or any other Terminal illness-subject to certain cap
  • ☰ Provision of onward journey by Air,Train or Road Travel to attend the funeral of Parents of missionaries if the distance between the mission field and the funeral site is more than 1,500 k.m subject to certain cap for each category
  • ☰ Compensation for loss of property due to natural calamities (Fire, Earthquake, Flood, Land slide) and Theft
  • ☰ Missionary’s first and second daughter’s first delivery expense.
  • ☰ Support at the time of Persecution
GS Fund Support Scheme

The missionaries are supported through the support scheme to meet various unmet needs when they undergo a crisis. The scheme is funded from earmarked and regular donations received from the Friends of MUT.
