IMPACT (Inter Mission Plan of Assurance during Calamity Times) is one of the Schemes of 'MUT', looking after the welfare of the Bereaved Families of deceased Member-Missionaries. The Bereaved Family is paid Rs. 10,000 towards immediate expenses from Donors Support Scheme, on receipt of death intimation. A Death Relief amount of Rs. 1,40,000 is paid through contributions from member-missionaries (and by special donations in case of need) through MUT Scheme. The Bereaved Families are encouraged twice in a year through Child Support Assistance of Rs. 1,200 per dependent child, during every June and a Christmas Gift of Rs. 1,200 to 2,200 per family, during every December. Children in Bereaved Families are given Educational Advance of Rs. 15,000 per year and an additional Special Grant of Rs. 10,000 for Higher Education. Special Retreats for Bereaved Families are conducted every year. Except Death Relief, all other expenses are met through Donor Support Scheme.

An Administrative Committee, with equal representation from Mission Organizations & MUT, guides the operation of the Impact Scheme under MUT Scheme. Different Missions serving the Lord in spreading the Good News in our country, both big & small (ranging from a strength of 2 to 2,000 Members), including Special Ministries such as, Bible Translation, Medical, Children, Youth, Students, Tribal, Slum, Sex workers, Cassette, Radio and Visually-handicapped, are Members of this Project. There are three distinct entities to this scheme: Fellow Missionaries, Mission-minded Donors in the Church and the Bereaved Missionary Families, form a grand alliance.

The Scheme

About 150 Missions with a combined strength of 15,700 Missionaries (as on 31/05/2021), have joined this Fellowship.
